As a Psychotherapist and Educator (Secondary, Tertiary and Adult Education) with over 25 years of experience, Jane has listened to and assisted many people in challenging and stressful periods of their lives. She believes that most of us worry, catastrophize and ruminate over things that serve no purpose and are not helpful to us in any way. Living with worry, agitation, stress fear and anxiety undermines well being and the ability to pursue life goals
Jane believes that if we took the time for self care that, when difficulties arise, we would have the necessary practical tools to deal with them and better cope with adversity. Resilience is KEY!
Jane will teach you to spot the common warning signs that you are being overtaxed by stress, assess your self-talk and give you practical strategies to incorporate self-care for well-being in your daily routine. Her mission and her passion is to teach people a proactive approach to mental health by incorporating mindful meditation and calming strategies into their everyday life.
In this crazy world where the lines are blurred between work and home, where social media fills the gap between busy and quiet, where being strong and in control seems to be important and judgement and self criticism is often part of life . Jane will take you through the steps to give you knowledge and information about stress and how it affects you, your self awareness and your self compassion along with ideas and new approaches to incorporate into your everyday life.
